This will be the first and last time the Target Beauty Bag will be featured on the Think Tank. Apparently, after this bag Target will no longer be offering the Beauty Bag. The Target Beauty Bag, for the record is free, they make it available on their Facebook page, and as long as you like Target and provide shipping information, the bag will be shipped to you free of charge. This is the first time I partook in the Target Beauty Bag experience, and here are my thoughts.
|What the Beauty Bag is shipped in|
I actually forgot that I had requested a Beauty Bag from Target's Facebook page, so I was pleasantly surprised when this turned up in my mailbox. The exterior was a simple cardboard box, and this is was what was contained within.

The bag was small, but I liked it. It would be perfect to carry in a purse or bag. Something nice to repurpose and get multi-use out of. Pretty decent for a free sample set.
- A exclusive set of Target Beauty Product Coupons
- A sample of Pixi Face Primer
- Samples of Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy Shampoo and condition
- L'Oreal Ever Creme Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Masque
- Jergens Daily Moisture Lotion
- Frederic Fekkai Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner
So - for this being a Beauty Bag, I was expecting there to be more beauty product samples and less toilette type things. But hey, beggars can't be choosers. These will be great for traveling, so I'm happy. I also liked the included coupons. Where I live Target is more expensive (in terms of drugstore beauty products) than Walmart or Drugstore sales. The standout coupon was the $2 off the Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation, which I have been insanely curious about, and now can't wait to try.
I was really pleased with what I received for it being a free service. It's sad to see it go, but if Target decides to resurrect it, I will be sure to jump on it again!
